Conference Info: The conference theme is “Stewardship and Leadership”, where we are looking to engage civil engineers across all generations, disciplines, and expertise to share their insights and successes and help further our profession in current and future generations. Last year there were 225+ members coming from various backgrounds, disciplines, and skill levels.

Event Info: Annette Riley (ADOT Project Management Group), Reese Green (Pulice Construction) & Kevin Kimm (Kimley Horn) will be presenting on “Accelerated Bridge Construction – 87-Hour Sacramento Wash Bridge.” The presenting team will present logistics of the bridge constructed in 87 hours at Sacramento Wash in Mohave County.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and bowled in ASHE’s Annual Bowling Event. We all had a great time! Congratulations to John Willett for Men’s High Score and Yung Koprowski for Woman’s High Score. Watch out for next year’s event – late February/early March.

Mar. 2, 2012: ASHE 2012 Bowling Event – The 2nd ASHE bowling event was held on Friday, March 2nd. There were 18 participants this year (more than double from last year's event), plus a few spectators to rib folks on their bowling abilities. Everyone appeared to have a good time. The bumpers were not utilized, but may be considered for future events if requested. Congrats to James Barr (235 and 170 scores) and Sammi Williams (166) for the men's and women's high score games. There was interest to hold the bowling events twice a year rather than only once a year. Look for details on a possible event for this fall.
